TDR Hyper Tension fiberglass reeds by Tony Doukas Racing are a long lasting performance upgrade over the stock steel reeds.
These reeds were produced by TDR for Vintage Smoke to be a copy of the OEM Yamaha YZ125 55Y reeds which have become the “go to” stock replacement reeds for the RD250, RD350, and RD400. These match or exceed the performance of the popular YZ125 reeds at a more reasonable price when compared to buying OEM Yamaha YZ125 reeds.
These reeds are perfect for replacing the stock steel reeds in completely stock or mildly modified bikes and give fantastic throttle response as well as a boost in low to mid range power. These reeds are meant for bone stock or very mildly modified bikes such as with aftermarket exhausts, air filters, and possibly a very mild “clean up” port job. Each kit contains 2 sets of reeds which is enough for one bike.
